Not sure if people reading this are fancy about customizing their things but...
When I have time and I don't want to do anything else... I would have fun customizing my Windows 7 computer's theme.
I don't actually make the customization but I do download those themes from the internet to try them out.
Its quite a time-passing hobby... Like how some people just roam around in deviantArt and search for arts for hours to put as wallpapers... or something like that...
Well.. When customizing stuffs, if those who just started digging deep already... *ahem*
There is always a precaution to take, something we should aware about which is changing core system files...
I'm pretty sure some of you have certain experiences, not regarding computer's operating system as well...
Perhaps a handheld device or phone, when you accidentally change something you were not supposed to change in the core of the system and accidentally.. bricked it whether its because you did it manually or a virus you have accepted into the system did it..
Then we're like all nervous or panicky or just having a bored / troubled / disturbed look on our face all day...
Yeap.. I guess I've been there... so this is sort of just a reminder and perhaps.. a sharing of what I gathered about these experiences I had.. perhaps it could help anyone reading this in general to fix something...
If you are desperately in a need to fix and restore your Windows 7 core system files, you could find "cmd.exe" in run, right-click and "Run as administrator" and in it type in "sfc /scannow".
What it does is to scan your entire system to find changed / altered files and replace them with the correct copy. After the scanning is complete, you would have to reboot your computer to allow the changes to take place..
Well kinda screwed my computer by trying to "Aero Patch" to allow "Personalize" user interface to be modified... and now I cannot access it.
Now I can't change my themes because I cannot reach there... and I can't set specifically my desktop wallpaper stuffs too... Oh wells..
Another very "dangerous" thing:
Be really Really REALLY careful about installing multiple unlike themes that changes core files... they could corrupt themselves and especially if they both contain changes to either the Start Boot-up or Logon/Login Screens.. If that portion of your customization gets corrupted, you won't even be able to access your computer's "Desktop" and you probably have to literally reformat your computer at the very start of the system... like the 1st thing you see on the screen, pressing certain key to enter System Recovery mode...
I mean.. I've experienced that before and during the System Recovery, being naive to the sort of jargon language (something general people can't comprehend/understand), thinking that it will only reformat the window's partition which I thought was only going to reformat the system's side of things... I cancelled the drive backup and lost all my schoolwork data... so...
Yea.. just.. be careful of stuffs yea?...
And perhaps before I end it... perhaps you guys would like to give your opinions or share your experiences about stuffs that happened too.. maybe some additional fixes you found?..
Happy careful customizing~

Well "sfc /scannow" didn't work for me this time.
The last time it worked for me if was when I accidentally modified something directly related to System32 (a .dll I think), and it instantly start auto-closing explorer.exe. So I had to access everything via Task Manager's new task button to get chrome.exe and cmd.exe.
I already tried researching more stuffs and came across some solutions that did not work out for me as well, but if you're having problems perhaps you could try it:
// Problems in the case of prohibited Control Panel

// If you can't find gpedit.exe, this may come in handy, after installation of it I found mine in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\GPBAK

Found a workaround!! I was about to resort to reformatting...
// Last post, someone found himself/herself a workaround...

So I could create a Personalize shortcut folder and access if there instead of right-clicking on Desktop!!
To that person if you're ever reading this, Thank you.

Apparently I finished customizing my desktop and the Personalize on right-click works now as well, the "Aero Patch" allowed me to do a revert (remove and restore the default files) for it so yea...
In the end I did not use it at all. Turns out, from the forum I read that the theme has a bug inside of its other separate component that needed to be installed and I installed the fixed uploaded version... Sooo.. yea cool
Looking awesome now . . .
