Anxiety Out of bounds & Procrastination

Part I: Anxiety Out of bounds

Have you ever done something you regret and thought a lot about it the whole day till you could not neither get your daily workloads done nor get enough sleep for the next day?

Or are you about to do something good for others you tried to do before years ago knowing that it turned out badly years ago? And because of that hesitate and keep focusing your timely energy only about it?

What you could be doing is Worrying. Worrying anxiety.
Anxiety can do a lot of harm for us over a period of time.
This include stomach ulcers, stress, other illnesses as it tends to bring down the body.

Have you ever heard of this phrase?:
"Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present."
Don't worry for the future for it is to only be experienced and matter later.
Don't worry for the past for whats done is already done.
Only matter for what might happen today.

Not to be unconcern about the future, you should still be concern about it.
But what worrying does is to keep you spiraling round and round at a thought without proceeding on to do anything else.
Or take substantial energy and ability from you from doing anything at all.

Do your best of abilities today that it will in turn meet the concerns of tomorrow.
Take it one step at the time.

Remember, whenever you're worrying, be aware of what it will do to you
and ask yourself: Does it really matter?

Part II: Procrastination

Sometimes we're bored or tired of certain matters on our hands that may not be urgent yet.
And then we decide that "Well at least we could always do it later... Since it doesn't really matter now".

Soon, with the continued mentality, we find ourselves throwing workloads to be done only later.
Till we find a brick wall for the workload, its deadline.
Rushing through it, we may find it challenging or impossible to work around or through it.
Then we have to face the consequences prepared for us partly by ourselves.
(Whether be it a sleepy individual we may become or something less or more serious than that..)

The anti-procrastinating measure is to start doing whatever have been given to us instantly and continue with it as it goes on till we are able to finish it.

We should plan ahead what works should have more priorities during the certain periods of time.
Some time management or scheduling is involved.

We should not assume it to be easy just by the looks of it.
Don't underestimate it or the difficulties of getting it done may pile up over the tasks of the scheduled other.

Well.. frankly overestimating is a bad thing too because if the time taken for a task is shorter than expected then we may take more than necessary rests between the next, which may then be wasting some work time you could spend for improving ect. ect... ...

Then... well.. actually overestimating is a precaution taken for workloads that is not measurable as you have not experience it hence do not know how to gauge the time needed for it.

The issue is: Finish things earlier so during the later phase, you could either improve it or hopefully rest for a longer period.
Perhaps spend time for other things you wanted to do in life?

Take care of yourself~
